I've been kind of on hiatus for the past few weeks, but now I'm going to try to update the blog on a more frequent basis. Hopefully I'll be able to juggle between everything and update on a daily basis. I think as long as I'm not too distracted by dramas, then I'll be more focused :)
After Vietnam and my dreaded banking exam, I went on to Cambodia for some ancient ruins fun. The hotel, The Privilege Floor, was great. From free mini bar, champagne, cocktails, afternoon snacks to private car and tour guides, the hotel offered splendid service that cannot be matched anywhere else (no detection of being ripped off). We arrived very late in the afternoon as there was only one flight available from Singapore during this time (Traveling with Jet Star). Nonetheless, the late arrival allowed me to just relax and settle down at the resort, getting ready for a busy day tomorrow.
Looking back, I think the hotel's service was amazing but the decoration was a little more too culturalish for me. I prefer modern, sleek and white looking hotels with lots of sunlight, but this one was mainly made of wood and decorated with wood. I think I would have preferred to stay the the Hotel de la Paix, but the service and value for what you get at The Privilege Floor was just too good to pass.
